Going Mobile in Philly!

Brownfields 2011 will provide several opportunities to view local brownfield redevelopment sites firsthand in the form of mobile workshops. These tours include transportation to outstanding redevelopment sites throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. Sunday, April 3rd • 12:15–3:00 pm. – Wilmington Riverfront Development Wilmington’s Riverfront Development Corp. is charged with creating economic vitality along the Christina River. The Riverfront Development Corp. of Delaware embarked on its mission of transforming an industrial wasteland into a thriving destination rich in history and filled with recreational, cultural, retail, and culinary attractions. Along with public funds that generated extensive private investment and tax revenues, site investigation and restoration initiatives resulted in environmental improvements on every acre of the redevelopment project.
